Mobile phones have already transformed how we do business today, and they are not just something for the future. A study by We Are Social found that half of the world's people have a mobile phone, and every second, nine new people start using one. This means that businesses, whether they are online or have physical stores, really need to use mobile marketing to succeed.

 What is Mobile Marketing?

Mobile marketing is a way of promoting things to people who use mobile phones. It uses diverse ways like websites, emails, pictures and videos, social media, and apps to talk to these mobile phone users.

Mobile marketing is important for any kind of marketing plan, whether it is for a short time or for a long time. It has ways to reach every type of person in the group you want to talk to. This includes sending emails, making interesting content, using social media, showing ads, and making sure people can find you when they search online.

Using mobile marketing can make more people like your brand and want to buy your things or use your services. It helps you talk to more people quickly, at any time during their experience with you. So, how can you make the most out of mobile marketing's strong influence?

To keep reaching mobile shoppers and achieving positive outcomes in sales, businesses have needed to rethink and adapt their online marketing approaches for mobile devices. This applies to both online stores and physical retail locations.

Why Mobile Marketing is Important?

With so many apps available to download, it is important for app makers to use mobile marketing to attract and keep users. Mobile marketing involves special campaigns to show off what makes an app great, talk to users right away, and make experience of person special.

Mobile marketing has lots of benefits:

 • More People Know About Your App: Mobile marketing helps more people find out about your app. Using things like ASO (App Store Optimization), ads on mobile devices, talking about it on social media, and working with popular people can make more people want to download and try your app.

• Getting and Keeping Users: A good mobile marketing plan can help you get inexperienced users and keep the ones you already have. By showing ads to the right people, having programs where users can invite their friends, and sending messages that feel personal, you can get inexperienced users while still making your current users happy. This also helps make sure users do not stop using your app.

• Getting Users to Use Your App More: With mobile marketing, you can send messages that tell users about cool things in your app, like updates or exclusive deals. This makes users want to use the app more often and for longer times. When users feel a strong connection with the app, they keep using it, and that is a good thing. Making the app easy to use, helping users pay for things, and giving them a smooth experience all help make more users buy things or do what you want them to do in the app.

So, by using mobile marketing, apps can get more popular, have more users, make those users happy, and do well in the app market that is full of competition.

Mobile Marketing in Data

The latest Mobile Marketing study by IAB Spain reveals some interesting facts about mobile marketing in Spain.

Around 5 million people (about twice the population of Mississippi) aged 16 to 65 in Spain use mobile phones, which is about 94% of the population. Most of them use smart phones.

People in Spain spend an average of 2 hours and 34 minutes each day on their smartphones, which is about twice as much time as they spend on tablets. This is especially true for women and younger individuals aged 16 to 30.

The most popular apps on smartphones are WhatsApp and Facebook, while on tablets, people tend to use Facebook and play games.

About 34% of people use their mobile phones regularly while watching TV, and 18% do the same with tablets. This is called multiscreen usage.

Around one-third of users feel that the emails they receive are not well-suited for viewing on mobile phones. As a result, 31% of them do not open these emails on another device. An interesting finding is that 9 out of 10 people have used their smartphones at least sometimes while shopping.

When it comes to online shopping, 41% of people have bought things using their mobile phones. The most popular categories for mobile purchases are fashion, leisure, travel, and electronics.

If someone does not buy things online, 61% of them prefer a larger screen for shopping, and 33% feel unknown about the safety of online transactions.
